We leave Cusco early at 5:00 am aproximately taking the route of the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, place where we stop for a moment to buy some things needed for the hike, we continue the journey to Piskacucho at kilometer 82 , the starting point of the walk. Lunch will be in the place known as Miskay, after a Little rest we leave to our first camp in Huayllabamba which is one of the largest archaeological sites along the route.
We started the day early in the morning walking over the shadow of the mountains, which will facilitate our hike. Today will be a difficult day because we will walk to the highest point of the Inca Trail,Warmiwañusca pass 4200 meters from where you can enjoy the scenery and different ecological across this step we will enjoy our lunch to continue until Pacaymayo camp where we will have dinner and a momento with the group.
We started the day with an energizing breakfast we will walk 45 minutes to the second highest step of the Inca Trail (3850 mts. Above sea level).
During the walk we will visit several archaeological sites like Runcuracay, Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca,. After lunch we continue to Wiñaywayna where we will spend our last night on the Inca Trail.
The day begins very early to get to Machu Picchu and enjoy the sunrise in Machupicchu After breakfast, crossing the final part of the trek to the magical city of Machu Picchu We will walk to the Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol, from where we have a beautiful view of Machupicchu. After a short hike down to Machu Picchu, we will register in the main entrance, then enjoy a guided tour visiting Machu Picchu (2 hours) After your tour you have free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own after exploring we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can have the lunch and enjoy the hot springs before this relax momnet we will take the train back to Ollantaytaytambo. We will wait for you at the train station to take you back by bus to Cusco arriving at 10:30 p.m.
